Description

From the cold floor of a waking dream, consciousness bleeds back into focus through a haze of muted color. Two towering sentinels loom above, their faces concealed behind the mechanical snouts of gas masks and swathed in heavy, yellow suits. They are silent watchers standing at the threshold of a fractured world, staring down without expression.

A single hand reaches desperately toward the sky, fingers splayed as if trying to push away the encroaching fog or grasp at the last wisps of reality. The sky above dissolves into a blur of pale light and bare, skeletal branches, trapping the viewer in an inescapable, feverish nightmare where rescue and capture become indistinguishable.
